Welding refers to the welding between metals. It is a forming method that makes two separated objects produce interatomic bonding force and connect them into one by heating or pressurizing, or both at the same time. At present, according to the different heating degree and process characteristics in the welding process, there are three methods of welding atmosphere, namely: fusion welding, pressure welding and brazing.
1. Melting electrode welding (fusion welding) is represented by manual arc welding with welding rod and second guarantee welding. The workpiece to be joined is heated and partially melted to form a molten pool, which can be joined after cooling and solidification, and a molten filler can be added if necessary. It is suitable for welding processing of various metals and alloys, and the whole process does not require pressure.
2. Pressure welding (resist welding), represented by resistance spot welding, seam welding and row welding machine. The use of resistance heat to the local melting of the weldment, cooling after the formation of metallurgical action of the non-removable weld joint.
3. Brazing (divided into soft soldering and hard soldering), electric soldering iron solder wire belongs to a common soft soldering and copper brazing welding of some turning tools (high-speed cutting steel cutter head, carbon steel cutter body). The solder uses a metal with a lower melting point than the base metal, and the liquid solder is used to wet the base metal, fill the joint gap, and diffuse with the base metal to realize the connection of the weldment. Brazing is suitable for welding of various materials, especially for welding of different metals or heterogeneous materials.
Welding operation should pay attention to welding precautions:
1. During welding and cutting operations, all inflammable and explosive articles within 10M of the environment should be cleaned up. Attention should be paid to check whether there is combustible liquid and combustible gas in the trench and sewer of the working environment, and whether it is possible to leak combustible and explosive substances in the trench and sewer, so as to avoid disasters and accidents caused by welding slag and metal sparks.
2. During high-altitude welding and cutting, it is forbidden to throw the welding rod head. The bottom of the welding and cutting operation should be isolated. After the operation is completed, careful and detailed inspection should be carried out to confirm that there is no fire hazard before leaving the site.
3. Gas cylinders that meet the requirements of relevant national standards and regulations shall be used, and safety operation regulations shall be strictly observed in the storage, transportation and use of gas cylinders.
4. Pipelines for conveying combustible gas and combustion-supporting gas should be installed, used and managed according to regulations, and special safety technical training should be given to operators and inspectors.
5, welding fuel containers and pipelines, should be combined with the actual situation to determine the welding method. When the replacement method is implemented, the replacement should be thorough, and the shadow content of combustible substances should be strictly controlled in the work. When the non-replacement method with pressure is implemented, a certain voltage should be maintained as required. The oxygen content should be strictly controlled in the work. It is necessary to strengthen detection, pay attention to guardianship, and have safety organization measures.
